Ichneumonidae sp. (female)

Hello Ray,

wrong subforum. I'll move it to the Hymenoptera section.

For almost all of the 5.000+ Ichneumonoidea species you will get no identification after a photo. I have explained it several times here and elsewhere. But it's in German...: Bestimmung von Ichneumonidae und Braconidae.

rotwerd and thanks for moving it. I thought I had placed it in Hymenoptera but obviously never read properly - Rentnersyndrome!

I imagined there would have been "Common" Ichneumonidae but never realised the problem of "doppelgangers". That's certainly an amazing variety for one Superfamily (almost 5000 in Germany). I will just file it as "white-rimmed-eyes" with orange legs and very long ovipositor.
