Hallo,
diese Wespe habe ich am 14. August am Rand des Zeisigwalds in Chemnitz (Sachsen) auf Wilder Möhre fotografiert.
Liege ich richtig mit Weibchen der Gattung Astata?
Danke und VG,
Marion

I'm hesistant to suggest a genus (i'm not a hymenopterist) but it sure looks like it belongs in the subfamily Astatinae of Crabronidae. I have documented Astata boops but i cannot see the wing venation well enough in your photos to be certain of this suggestion. The white hairs are characterisic of Astata, so it could be an Astata sp female. Maybe Christian will post soon ...
thank you for answer with confirmation of the subfamily Astatinae. Unfortunately, I do not have better pictures. I had the same problem with the venation of the overlapping wings. So I´ll wait for Christian.
Best wishes,
Marion
