Hallo Jürgen,
vielen Dank.
Ich hätt gern mehr und bessere Fotos gemacht, leider hab ich ihr dabei mit der Kamera mal kurz die Sonnen genommen und damit wohl verscheucht.
it is not a Pollenia species. Notice the compact head, long thorax and long abdomen. Also the bend of the m vein and the lack of noticeable bristles on the thorax.
it is a very dark male Protophormia terraenovae.
Hello John,
thank you very much!
Indeed, the fly was very dark, the reason why I photographed it. Unlike all the other flies that were also there it looked extremely black. So I thought it had to be a different spezies, a new one for me( in my very small collection )..and it is.
Notice the compact head, long thorax and long abdomen.
yes, that irritated me a bit.

lack of noticeable bristles on the thorax.
I see bristles at the sides of it and thought those on the top were rubbed off.

Indeed very dark. That is, why I excluded that species (which also came into my mind). I only know it clearly blue like the one below. I don't find it very often.
